My name is Charlene Lovett, and I am a 22-year military veteran and the former Mayor of Claremont – a city “on the rise.” From school board to the State House to city council, I have served at all levels of government, and I am ready to put my problem-solving and partnership-building skills to work in the New Hampshire Senate.
We have a lot to be proud of in Senate District 8. Building upon our successes and addressing today’s challenges through partnerships will be my focus. In our communities, we know the value of working together to achieve a common goal. We have succeeded in preventing childhood lead poisoning, converting vacant buildings into housing, expanding access to treatment for mental health and substance use disorders, and implementing energy policies that protect our environment. I will bring this experience and record of success to Concord.
